Does this replace Claude Projects?
No. Projects group files and instructions you set up ahead of time. OmegaVault captures what actually happens during conversations and makes it available the next time you open Claude — including in a different Project.
Is the connection read, write, or both?
Both, over the same MCP connection. Claude can pull relevant memories into context and write new ones back as you talk — there is no separate "capture only" mode.
